November Newsletter

 NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

November was a fun month in the Plums class! We learned about all things Fall during the first couple of weeks and then transitioned to Turkeys and Thanksgiving. We made art with leaves, worked together to make a Turkey and made different types of Thanksgiving food. We worked hard on counting skills, number identification, completing patterns and identifying shapes. We read many fun stories and worked on answering WH questions about the story and sequencing the story. We learned about the letters B, C, O & F. The kids LOVE Letterland.

We began our Gingerbread theme this week! The students have enjoyed playing at the pretend bakery. We worked together and built Gingerbread Houses out of cardboard. We also tried Gingerbread cookies- they were a big hit! We will continue our Gingerbread theme next week and then transition to Holidays Around the World.

I have LOVED getting to know your children over the past couple of weeks! They are a special bunch:)

Best,

Mrs. Frances, Mrs. Lindsay and Ms. Logan
