February Newsletter

    February has FLOWN by. We've covered a lot this month. We started the month learning about Friendship, transitioned into Valentines and now we are learning about Community Helpers. We discussed ways to be good friends and acted out different scenarios. We talked about what it means to be kind. It was so sweet to hear them describe how to be a good friend and what it means to be kind. They are all such sweet friends :). 

    We started our Community Helpers theme by learning about Safety Helpers (Firefighters, Police, etc). The dramatic play center was transformed into a Fire Station. The students have LOVED playing in this center. We are learning about Police Officers this week and will have a Police Officer visit in the coming weeks! Next week we are going to be talking about Doctors. We will continue our Community Helpers Theme until Spring Break.
